Amelia Sarah Berkeley and her sister Emily Caroline Berkeley are identical twins that complement each other’s personalities. Amelia was the wild dreamer always trying to stretch the boundaries and Emily was the tamed logical thinker, together they were balanced and believed they could conquer anything. They were inseparable and finished each other’s sentences. Their mother would say that God should never have allowed them to be born as two persons.

The Berkeley’s and Ripley’s were bonded by every social characteristic. The business may have brought them together but family is the glue that keeps them tight.
