The Umbrella Clause - Andrew W. Berkeley
The Berkeley’s
When the Berkeley's received their invitation to gain access to The Umbrella Clause provision it was a welcome answer to the question. How do we protect all that we have?
Andrew W. Berkeley, a family man who loves his wife and his two daughters. Andrew started a thriving artificial intelligence business which catapulted him to billionaire status. He owns a thirty five percent stake of Berkeley and Ripley Enterprises now known as Berkeley and Ripley International.
Andrew had to develop an appetite for his wealth because he came from humble beginnings, reared by an aging Uncle who lived a pauper’s lifestyle. Although Andrews Father left a trust fund for Andrew which could only be drawn on once a year, his Uncle chose to be frugal. The amount of money in the trust fund was a meager sum considering what it cost to rear a child. The bulk of it was reserved for Andrew’s college education. The money originated from an insurance policy that came due when his mother died. Andrew’s mother died giving birth to him, his father disappeared one night never to be seen again, with many saying that he died from a broken heart. Andrew does not talk about his paternal family. He prefers to talk with great pleasure about his wife and daughters.
